It is a colorless glossy, satin and matte finishing product for indoor use on wooden floors.
Developed based on polyurethane resin that offers excellent resistance to scratches and abrasion.
Water-based product with low odor during and after application, ideal for indoor environments, fast drying, easy to apply and cleaning products. Maintains the natural appearance and protects wooden floors.
Versatile product with the option of application in areas with low foot traffic (single component), or in high traffic areas with the addition of Montana Water Floor Varnish Catalyst (two component).
INDICATIONS FOR USE
For wooden floors, for indoor use, and in all types of solid wood, laminated wood and parquet.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface must be clean, free of loose particles, dry (moisture content below 20%), free of mold and free of contaminants such as oils, waxes, greases and others. Do not apply to green or damp wood.
New floors – perform caulking and correct imperfections using Mazza Montana (wood putty) in the closest shade to the wood, then sand the floor and putty,
Finishing with 240 or 280 grit sandpaper, completely eliminate dust. Apply a coat of Montana Water Floor Sealer, after drying, sand with 280 grit sandpaper to eliminate exposed wood fibers.
Floors with coating – remove completely by sanding with coarse-grit sandpaper and proceed as indicated for new floors.
APPLICATION AND INCOME
Apply with a 5 mm high wool or microfiber roller, pad or soft bristle brush. Mix the product thoroughly, shaking the container for at least 2 minutes. When used as a single component, the product is ready to use. As a two-component product, add the Water Floor Varnish Catalyst (100 ml) to the Water Floor Varnish (5 liters) and shake well for 3 minutes. After catalyzing, the mixture has a useful life of 6 hours. After this period, its properties will be lost.
Apply 2 to 3 coats in uniform layers, with a 4-hour interval between coats. If the interval between coats is greater than 24 hours, lightly sand the finish before continuing with the application. Avoid applications at temperatures below 10°C or above 40°C and with relative humidity above 85%.
Notes:
1- It is recommended to use the Água Montana Floor Sealer as a base for applying varnishes to wooden floors. In addition to promoting excellent pore closure, it increases the yield of the Água Montana Floor Varnish.
